thinning and dilation of cervix

by sdbaby, Oct 17, 2008 04:49PM
Had my doc's appointment yesterday, she checked my cervix and said it has thinned. I'm scared, from now on after how many weeks or days will i go into labor? I'm really scared, because we r shifting our house this month end and if both happens at the same time- just can't imagine.

well, it's hard to say. At 28 1/2 weeks, my cervix had thinned to 1 cm or less. Now, here I am at 38 weeks.  Granted, I was on bedrest. Maybe just take it easy until after the shift?
