12 month old baby not gaining weight

My son had one year check up. His height is 29 3/4 & weight is 19.7 pounds.. His height at 9 months was 29 inches & weight was 19.10 ounces. He eats pretty much everything . He is not big eater. He hates milk. so I give him cheese  & yogurt. He gets veggies , rice & lentils for lunch .. & meats & fruits at dinner. he eats cheerios , crackers through out the day..( but limited amount)  He is not walking yet.  but very active . constantly moving..  At birth he was 5 pound 9 ounces.. His iron level is very high.. & all reports are normal.. our pedi said  to give him multivitamins. which I have been giving him.. I really dont know what to do.. Pleas help me

Please try not to worry.  You hit it on the nose; he is constantly moving. My son was the exact same way. We would joke that the minute he ate he worked it off. He never stopped. He was small for the longest time.  Then he grew. It was past grade school when he really grew.  My son walked late as well. He was past 12 months and so was my daughter. I would lie awake at night an worry.  They both are very normal, very smart adults now.  Children do things at their own pace. There is no real map.  As long as he is eating, happy and moving there really shouldn't be any worry.  If you and his father are small he may just be smaller and also he is progressing at his own special pace. And that is what make him so amazing.
