Hey nikita
I would firstly like to say that you must have a healthy body image mentality.
"I know right wow" is definately not
To be skinny should not be a goal, neither should overweight i do understand
But neither should unhealthy habbits
You might want to find out your BMI and see whether your in a healthy weight range for your height. Then you can devide whether you want to change your body compositoon. You should aim to loose body fat and build muscle. I really recommend weight training and a bit of cardio in what ever form you enjoy best. Whether its classes of karate, yoga, running, cycling etc.
Do not "watch your calories" as most teenagers who begin counting calories become self destructive and i have never seen one teenager who started counting calories and didnt end up obsessive and loose their mind. Its a bad window. You dont need yo worry about them just concentratw on eating balanced meals of carbs fats and protein source foods. An easy step to follow is to fill half your plate with vegetables, 1/4 with carb(like brown ride of wraps) and 1/4 with a fish, lean meat or poultry or eggs. For snacks have some fruit and a small handful of nuts.
Dont forget about some low fat yoggurt which is amazing with nuts and fruit or even muesli
Hi,
I am also trying to lose some weight, and it's just-stay healthy. I workout almost every day,or at least I try to do some walking or cycling when I don't have the time, and you need to watch your calories. But that's not it,tou have to make sure you get the good calories, not the empty ones that are in cookies and such. Women's health mag helps me a lot, too!
