I would like to know whether the so called"fresh" vegetables available in the market conforms to standards of toxicity.Do we need to detoxify all vegetables by natural ways of putting saline water or sodium bicarbonate.Does this detoxifying guarantee that they are safe. What additional precautions do we need to take?
Washing vegetables just gets rid of some of what's on the surface, not what's on the inside. It's important to wash your food, but the only way to be as safe as possible is to eat only organically grown food. Even then, you won't be completely protected from applied toxins, and you'll never be completely safe from inadvertently tainted food, but you'll be as safe as you can be.
