Adding Liquid Chlorophyll to my diet...

Hi,
I just bought a bottle of liquid chlorophyll as I have read so much of good about it. I am prepared to add this dietary supplement  to my diet, but I am unsure as to how.
I follow the 8x8 rule for drinking water, and I eat oats or bran in the morning and dried fruits, nuts/seeds for snacks mostly. I take a multivitamin w/iron and a concentrated cranberry tab once a day almost daily. I try to refrain from fried foods, and have increased my weekly intake of beans/legumes, etc. I guess what I would like to know is that, would it hurt me to incorporate liquid chlorophyll into my diet? Would it be too much? Should I remove something in order to balance things out in order to add it? Or, will adding this dietary supplement make my diet even better? Please advise me.
Thanks in advance for your advice and expertise.

I agree with you SassyLassie 100%, and could not have said it any better than you have myself.
Also, besides me wanting to make healthy choices with what I choose to eat in my diet, I donated my right kidney to my mum almost a decade ago and I try my best to keep up with proper nutrition for myself; However I do appreciate any feedback I receive here. We are all learning new things here and as long as some proofs are presented, its all well and good.

Well, I have heard differently, I have read and heard that when you are thirsty, you are already on the dehydrated side. Water is a MUST for you to be healthy our bodies are made up of 84% water and without it, we will have had kinds of trouble, lack of it will even give you irregular heart beats, weird blood pressure readings, you name it. So, it is not a myth, we need water and the 8x8 guideline is minimal in my opinion and in my doctors opinion.

As far as chlorophyll, well, it is full of all the trace minerals and nutrients needed by man, you could not live on it along, but, it is a great addition to your diet. That is why eating green, leafy vegetables is so important, we need these nutrients, and unfortunately, most of our food now-a-days lacks the proper nutrients due to over cooking, pesticides, etc.

The 8x8 water drinking guideline is a medical myth. (See "Therapeutic Initiatives, Medical Myths). Drinking when you are thirsty is sufficient, except perhaps in extremely hot environments. Chlorophyll is an inactive ingredient. It will neither hurt nor help you.

Hi and thank you,

I really try to eat properly and well, I enjoy it, though sometimes I cheat on a candy bar every once in awhile lol.

I just began the Chlorophyll (so anxious to try it) while I awaited a response.
Your so right about the chlorophyll staining things, I had traces of it on my hands from pouring it onto the spoon and it got on my shirt too. As long as my teeth remain the same color I'll be ok. lol

I do like the taste. It reminds me of spearmint tea and by water being my only beverage, it's almost like a treat. Its still too early to tell of any changes or improvements, but I will continue for as long as I can on it.

I am happy to receive your positive response and will post my results, also welcome to the forums. Hope this site will be of good benefit to you. I'm new also and I like it here and find it beneficial.

Thanks again

Your diet sounds great, and no, it will not hurt at all to take the liquid Chlorophyll, it is so good for you, loaded with tons of minerals and trace minerals, vitamins and as I said,  will not hurt you in any way. LOL, I took it for almost a year, felt fine on it, however, I had to be careful that I did not turn anything green, the liquid is so green and if you spill some on a porous surface, it might stain. The only reason I stopped was because I was taking so many vitamins and such, I had to draw the line somewhere, I was like a walking health food store, LOL, even my Naturopath said to cut back.

Anyway, take it and enjoy the best of health.
