Daily take of vitamins

Hi!
I don't know if I'm in right forum.I was wondering which and how much vitamins I should take daily? I heard that when I take to much vitamins I can harm my body instead of helping it.Right now I'm taking Vitamin C(1000mg),       Coenzyme Q-10 (200mg),B-50, E 400 I.U.and chrominium piconilate (400mcg).Is there some vitamins I should add or I souldn't take?I'm thinking to add  fish oil.I'm 30 ,healthy and active,no kids.
Thank you for you time and help.

It is very important that we only take the recommended doses of all vitamins and minerals regardless if the vitamins are fat or water soluble. Vitamins and minerals do cause issues when they are taken above the upper limits or mega dose levels. That will cause the body to have toxic build up and medical issues will occur. The issues can be serious depending on the length of time and amounts the supplements were taken. The best source for all vitamins and minerals are our foods. Fresh fruits and vegetables are the best sources. You get the needed vitamins and minerals and the additional fiber benefit too. If you feel that you are not eating enough fresh fruits and vegetables, then suggest only a daily multi-vitamin. Hoped that answered your question.
