Enzyme Supplements and Probiotics

Hi,

I seem to have digestion issues that are causing me to lose weight and have gastrointestinal issues.  It might be due to the use of alcohol, sleep aids, and stress.  Does anyone have suggestions of good enzyme suppliments and probiotics?  Thanks,

I use Primal defense ULTRA Probiotic Formula.  The brand is Garden of Life.  I got mine from Vitamin World.  You take one a day for a while then increase slowly to 3.  I hope that helps.

I take an excellent pro-biotic by "Pharmax", it is called HLC High Potency Powder. You put a 3rd of a teaspoon in cold water in the morning and drink it, it is so good, the best I have used. It has to be kept in the refrigerator otherwise all the viable bacteria will not be as potent. It tastes great too, just like apricot, in fact, dried apricot is in it. You can get it on line, it is out of Redmond Washington.

As far as a digestive aid, there are some good ones out there, I have taken one called "Absorb Aid" and it worked the best for me. Also, my Naturopath has recommend Licorice Root, this is great for digestion as well. This can be purchased in capsule form, start slowly and work up to one with each meal. It is also great for the adrenal glands.

First of all, thats a cute name.
It sounds like your pro-biotic is yummy.  I may have to look into that one.  I've heard about using Licorice Root also but I wasn't sure about it so I went with the other one.  I just started this one about a month ago.  I've used other ones before but I thought this would be better.
