Feeling sick and weak after 72 hr fasting

by whatever4, Jun 21, 2009 03:56AM
I had a 72 hr supervised fast last week, The first day I felt hungry, The second day I felt sick( I think it is because they gave me caffeine tea and coffee also they had given me my Plavix). The third day: felt week but was not hungry. My blood sugar did not go below 50. They said everything is fine no hypoglycemia or diabetes.
I have been home for 48 hours and feel so week my muscles hurt and all I want to do is sleep. I force feet myself like always again. I was 145 pounds before the fast and lost almost 14 pounds I am still losing weight.
I also have a heart disease and am on oxygen which they cannot figure out why I have interstitial lung disease. I just had an e-mail from my Pulmonologist who said that my sniff test is normal, but the diaphragm function is extremely limited. I am getting very concerned and have no clue what to do all I want to do is sleep

How should I feel after a 72 hr supervised fasting test?
