Hunger

I have always been hungry. I am hungry 24/7 and have been for about 30 yrs, don't remember being like this as a child. I am not overweight and do not have a Thyroid condition. I love all types of food, had a homemade veg curry tonight, but feeling extremley hungry. Would appreciate some help. Thanks Catwoman76

i think you shud start taking some supplement which can help minimize little of your hunger or you can talk to your doctor about this.

It sounds to me that this may be a tapeworm. Have you visited some place out of the ordinary? or have you eaten something strange or unproperly cooked? check wit your doc. to see if there is anything there that's not supposed to be.

When you say feeling hungry- do you mean stomach growling hungry- or more "peckish" in that you wouldn't mind a bite to eat constantly? The later is more likely due to boredom, or a form of OCD.

I have always felt like this for 30 yrs, I always have this so hungry feeling, I feel sickish.Can't be tapeworm, as I have had this feeling for many years. I had cereal and toast for breakfast and now I feel as though I haven't eaten for  many hours. Yes my tummy often gurgles and rumbles, but you can't eat all the time. It doesn't matter what I eat, breakfast, lunch, dinner, it is constant. My daughter has just come in the room and said she is straving hungry,  she is slim and active. I hope she hasn't got the same as me. It's a nightmare. Thanks for everybody's input Catwoman

I just saw a segment on Monsters Inside Me where someone had a parasite within them for years before a diagnosis. Parasites can live a long time in the body before something "awakens" them. When they changed their diet symptoms began to appear.

You can spread parasites to others through handshakes, touches, hugs, etc.

One of the symptoms this man had was excessive hunger. Another symptom was his stomach rumbling and gurgling.

A regular doctor can help you figure out what's wrong. If it's a parasite, a stool sample may or may not show which type.
