For the past few days, I have had abdominal pain, cramping in the lower stomach, diarrhea  and flatulence after eating or drinking any dairy products. After I go to the bathroom, all but two symptoms usually go away. The two that usually stay longer that the other are abdominal pain, and flatulence. Recently, after eating out, I came home to a major stomach ache. Thinking back, I remembered I had a big bowl of ice-cream before leaving the restaurant.  This stomach ache was followed up by flatulence, cramps in the lower stomach and very bad diarrhea. I have thought about what could be wrong, and the only thing I could think of was being lactose intolerant. I am 12 and have not showed any symptoms before a couple weeks ago.All the symptoms match, could I possibly be lactose intolerant?

Have you heard back if you are lactose intolerant?

Easy test for lactose intolerance.  Discontinue eating all dairy, even artificial ones for at least two weeks. Three would be even better.  See how the body is doing without them.  If your problems are from diary, they should go away or be greatly reduced.  After 3 weeks, re-introduce one dairy product at a time beginning with the one that you think is the worst one for you and see how your body reacts to it.  If you are okay with that one, try another one, then another until you have tried all of the "regular" dairy to normally eat. Wait at least a week between introducing each "new" food back into the diet. See which ones bother you.  good luck
