I don't wanna eat

hi, I'm a 12 year old girl and I'm big for my age in about 5'8 and weigh about 110-115 pounds lately I haven't really had the urge to eat. I usually eat a small breakfast if any and for lunch only a bag of chips a fruit snack and a granola bar. When it comes to dinner time I use to be able to eat serving after serving and now I can barely finish one serving and usually put most of it back.
Should I be worried, or is it a normal thing?
thank you:)

To say never skip a meal, well, if you're not hungry, you shouldn't eat.  You do need to listen to your body.  That's different from always skipping meals.  And your metabolism doesn't change by skipping one meal or by eating one huge meal as we do at holiday time.  You only change your metabolism over a period of time of repetitive behavior.  Many people fast one day a week to clean out toxins.  There are many ways to skin a cat, not just one.

Hello, a good way to loose weight is to change your diet habits. Never skip a meal even when you aren't hungry. Whenever you skip meals you could effect your metabolism by slowing it down.

I know, but some people find it enough, in her case she doesn't eat at all, and when it's time to eat she doesn't eat a healthy balanced diet, as you said, she doesn't incorporate good nutrients :/  so i suggested instead of not eating enough and eating garbage when it's time to eat, 3 big rich meals can work for her
I personally eat 6 times a day, sometimes 7 ! Since am hungry all the time but i make it healthy in a small portion so that if am not satisfyed i can add another small portion in order not only to economise the food lol but to control my appetite
Anyway .. As i said am not an expert just talking from a logic angle and also past experience .

Just a comment -- three big meals a day isn't necessarily a good way to eat.  Many believe several small meals a day are better, as this provides a continuous metabolism and doesn't stuff you.  I think the best way to eat is the way that makes you feel the best, provided the food you're eating is healthful and provides your nutritional needs, which the one meal the poster detailed doesn't do.

Hmmmm ..
In that case am pretty sur it's just a hormon confusion, am not a doctor, well at least not yet lol, but things like this happen, i presonally experienced the same thing, actually experienced a lot with food, any way if this thing doesn't go away or it bothers you and you feel fatigue you may wanna consult your doctor, other then that i don't think it's something "anormal" so take it easy and don't worry about it ;)

I think you should change your eating habits and see if there's a difference, be active as well
It can be hormonal, i don't know if you reached puberty or not .. But hormones can affects, espacially girls and women, start with the obvious thing which is trying to eat healthy, if you don't have appetite at least eat 3 big meals a day, meals that should offer you various nutrients, meals which are balanced and surly unprossesed .
Take care ;)

Aside from the fact your one meal you've included the ingredients of aren't very healthy or complete, there are a lot of reasons for losing one's appetite.  Reduced exercise, having something that's bothering you, and yes, it could just be a temporary thing.  But the one fact you stated about yourself is your size for your age, so that might be what's bothering you.
