Thank you for writing down a brief summary of what you eat. It sounds like you do eat sufficient amount of daily calories. Have you had your thyroid checked by your MD? It is a simple blood test to see the levels of your thyroid hormones. An overactive thyroid “runs” the body’s metabolism at a higher rate and weight gain becomes an issue. If your thyroid is ok, then you just need to take in more calories for weight gain. You can supplement your meals with supplement drinks, such as Ensure, Boost, or make your own milkshakes or smoothies. Hope that helps you and thank you again.

well i eat a big bowl of cereal every morning with sum fruits(bananas mostly)/or sometimes i'll just have a big plate full of scrambled eggs ..& after 1/2hrs later i'll get hungry again, so id have sum chips or cookies, and for lunch i usually have something small like sum soup/& then id go back to junk food, like hot dogs, cookies/ cake or chips again... & for dinner- rice with soup, some meat & sum salad & bread, or sumtimes just pizza or my favorite- steak( i have pretty often), or big sandwiches like 12'' with meat/ or sometimes just pasta with bread. and during the day id have water mostly/ or atleast a cup of milk, and 2/3 cans of soda.
You are right. You are underweight for your height. Would you be able to tell me what you eat and at what time of the day? That would help me with my suggestions to your problem. Thank you.

I want to Gain Weight so badly, but nothing seems to work. I've been trying to gain weight ever since I was in 9grade! until one summer a trip to europe, ''I gained 20pounds'(from 100- 120pounds)' in a month and a half (thats how long the trip was) which wasn't so bad.. cuz I was happy with the way I looked.. but now (2yrs later) I've gotten so skinny and I hate it. I never want to go anywhere because of my embarrissing weight problem and I dont have much confidence because of it. please help! :(
(I dont know why ive gotten so skinny, because I eat soo much & I love food! :P)
