If you have no abnormality in your GI tract that would cause heartburn then the best advice is to keep a food log and doccument everything you eat in your meal including spices and condiments. And see if you get heartburn. This will help you to pinpoint the foods which are problematic.

Have you read or tried Ginger/gingeroot? Some swear by it.
