I need to gain weight because rep soccer is starting and I lost a lot wieght when I broke my hand

Well I broke my hand a month ago and I lost a lot of weight since so I started eating a lot to gain my weight back and to become strong again but It does'nt seem to be working so I decided to turn to protein juice and powders that has been working but I wanna gain and get muscle so I'm thinking of turning to cretin (purple k). Do you think this is a good idea and if you don't can u please give suggestions on how I can gain weight. I am 14 years old

You can gain it by building muscle. As you build lean muscle your weight will go up because muscle weights more than fat. You are consuming high amounts of protein which is not all needed in the body. Suggest you do eat carbohydrates to balance your meals. If our body get too much of one of the nutrients ---protein, carbohydrates, or fat it will use what it needs and then store it as fat, including protein. Carbohydrates are needed to build muscle too even though the gym trainers think differently. Try drinking 100% juice right after a work-out and the carbohydrates will bulk up your muscle. Suggest you eat 3 times a day with snacks between meals. Suggest drinking either nutrient dense drinks (in addition to eating your meals) such as ensure or make your own milkshakes or yogurt smoothies - milk, ice cream, and frozen fruit blended together, or yogurt, milk, and frozen fruit blended together for extra calories, protein and nutrients to help increase your weight / muscle without the expense.
