Part of your problem is being too hard on yourself -- perfection isn't in the human realm of possibility. Balance is the key to life, and the hardest thing to achieve, but you don't have to completely abstain from chocolate, you just have to moderate use. The world would be a lesser place without chocolate once in awhile.
I understand. I have the same problem..i am doing realky well on my diet and all pumpted up and then an emotional crisis comes and i binge eat. And if course i feel soo bad about it afterwards....i dont know if it happens to you the same way, but usually same things trigger the binge eating....is a matter of at least recognizing what it is....and this might help you identify pattern....i am still working on it myself...had a food binge 2 days in a row and body keeps craving.....hard but manageble....
