Is there such a thing as a mineral test?

Is there such a thing as mineral test?  If so, what is it called, or are those things tested in regular blood work?  Thank you.

There are tests for some minerals, like calcium.  Check with your local lab to see what is offered for a specific mineral.  Not all insurance companies will cover "special" tests, so check with them to make sure it will be covered, then see the doc for a script.  good luck
