I believe everyone is predisposed to certain things. Some people smoke and never get cancer and some people never smoke and still get lung cancer. Regardless, its trying to tell you something. Dont smoke. I have smoked and never enjoyed it...so why smoke...habitual and perhaps an addiction I was keeping to cover up something lacking in my life. Whether some people can or cant smoke w/ out irritation is of no importance. It will kill you one way or another and it destroys the cells in every part of your body. Try thinking of yourself on a more pure and godly (for lack of a better word) level. Your body deserves better!!!
I am witnessing the slow painful death of my grandmother who started smoking at an early age. All of my great uncles died before 50 from lung cancer. Smoking is not only very dangerous, and I don't care what form of smoking, it is also damaging to skin, hair, nails, and has absolutely no benefits other than a temporary calming effect for about 5 minutes. I know this may be my personal opinion, but if you have seen what I have, you would think twice. In answer to your question...I am not sure about your voice, I know smokers always need water after a cigarette because of dry mouth, but also, you won't be able to hold a note with your breath as you will be short winded if you do smoke.
