Looking for ideas

Hello-

I am currently trying to lose weight. I had lost almost 30 pounds, but gained it all back with in 5 months. It took me almost a year to lose it.

I am struggling again- and cannot seem to get the scale going- I eat anywheres from 1700-1900 calories per day(this is recommended from Personal trainer- whom cannot give me nutrition advice due to his job requirements at the YMCA) I also excersise 4-5 times a week for an hour.

I can post a daily log if you'd like to see where I am lacking and what I can do-

It is good you are exercising, however, switch to different exercises and/or do weights so the body is challenged. If you exercise the same every day the body gets uses to that, and you do not really loss weight. As you loss weight, I suggest you measure your waist and not look at the scale. Muscle weights more then fat and as you build muscle (lean body mass) it may not show weight loss. It is recommended in order to loss weight eat 500 calories less a day, which means that if you eat 1700 calories a day, then eat 1650 calories per day and you will loss approximately one pound a week. From your weight and height, you need a food intake of about 1500-1600 calories per day. Hope this helped you.

It would help me if you can state your height, weight (in kg or lbs.), and age (if you are under 18 years old). Thank you.
