Low Hemoglobin.. can you help me?

I went to the doctor because i was feeling fatigue, acid reflux flared up, and i had a general body itch with no rash. The doctor took a general blood panel blood test. The results showed lab tests are normal. only thing was it said hemoglobin and hematocrit was a little low. I know this is a sign on anemia. I was wondering if this general health panel would a infection or disease as well. I know it wont specify what disease or infection but at least will show a reaction right? Like hepatitis infection since the liver is involved?
