Low LDL but high triglycerides

by healthgram, Nov 09, 2008 02:22PM
My blood test shows:

Cholesterol 170
HDL 33
LDL/HDL 2.05
Triglycerides 347

BMI is 22

Not overweight, no diabetes, no kidney disease, drink no alcohol.

Is that unusual to have high triglycerides? How can I reduce them naturally? Niacin, Omega-3s, soy, iodine to improve thyroid function?????

If you want to lower your triglycerides, try taking Carlson Lemon Flavored Fish oil, a tablespoon twice a day, this will help to lower it, and is also good for any inflammation in the veins and arteries. Also, try Niacin, this has been known to help too.
Kamy, I do not know what 2.05 would be if converted, I am used to seeing it the other way.

Brewers yeast will raise good cholestrol and lower the bad,its the chromium in the yeast that does this.
