Manganese Toxicity and Parkinson's Disease

In today's society where we find every conceivable senior citizen popping their daily multi vitamin, the vast majority of which contain poorly bonded elemental minerals, it is interesting to notice more and more studies originating that attempt to trace major disease to this or that mineral imbalance. I'm not a doc, btw, but find these issues quite interesting, nonetheless.

For anyone experiencing Parkinson's Disease in his/her family, it might be worth it for you to take a look at what's out there in this area on the internet, expecially those associating Parkinson's with Manganese toxicity.

Well, thanks for bringing this up. After checking out different sites i found that manganese is important to humans and animals for various health reasons, but overexposure to it (like in welders, miners, steel and railroad workers and also people who handle certain pesticides) can lead to Parkinsons-like symptoms. Very interesting, I neverknew or heard that.
