Marijuana and gastrointestinal issues

Ok, so I am 20 years old and I have been smoking for almost six months now. Progressively, I began to smoke more and more out of control until recently I began waking up with terrible nausea and the hersey squirts.  I understand that what I was doing was irresponsible, I was using to help avoid depression symptoms and allowed myself to make a habit out of something I was trying to use in a medicinal way.  I ended up in the ER so terribly dehydrated that my blood was like diesel.  I ended up getting 4000 cc's of fluid intravenously due to the fact that I couldn't even drink water.  I am ashamed to say that essentially I let myself get so high all the time to the point I was starving myself of water and nutrition.  At this point I will say this: if you smoke weed make darn sure you are caring for yourself. You would be surprised at how much you may or may not be treating yourself as I did so please learn from my stupidity.  At this point, I'm stuck with this decision:  Do I smoke now while I'm still feeling a little ill just to feel a little better and induce slight appetite?  OR Should I try to cold turkey it for awhile, which is leaving me so very hungry?  Any help from people with experience with this issue will be more than appreciated.

listen to what i say, ive been smoking for 20 years.  im fine , the key is to take care of yourself.  when u smoke you have a tendency to cut corners.  eating properly and exercising regularly are essential in preventing another episode as the one you had.  smoking pot decreases your blood pressure, and actually coats your cells preventing free radicals from attacking them. dont listen to what people say about pot. people have been using this medicine for 1000s  of years. and only in the last 80 years has it been illegal due to scare tactics by people with money in the timber and cotton industry to preserve their business ,since hemp was a superior and still a superior fiber. if you work hard and get your blood pumping to where you sweat such as jogging and or lifting weights you will still have an appetite even when your low on ur grass.  if you wanna be a lazy pot head you probably wont be that healthy.  but if you take care of your self and eat right you can have many years of nice bakes....... also a trick i learned is eat your vegetables. lol u think im stupid but trust me, if you take care of your body it will take care of you. and in no way is marijuana bad for you.  i regularly take courses at the local community college and have over a 3.0 gpa. and yes i smoke allllllllllll the time. determination and hard work will get you places and smoking pot will not have any adverse effects towards your motivation if you dont let it. matter fact ima smoke one right now just for you buddy.

I used to smoke but had to quit in order to get the pain meds that I need very much to help control chronic pain from RSD. The only bad side-effect from smoking weed is jail time.... & the fact that you can't get the medicines you need if you smoke!!  It's a God given plant, made on the  6th day of Creation, I believe. God looked at ALL He had made & deemed it ALL good!!!

Marijuana is loaded with medicinal value but like everything else, must be used properly & in moderation. The Bible even talks about living a "balanced" life, so even there, God's telling us that moderation in ALL things is key to living a good & healthy life. And let me tell ya, brother's, God doesn't make junk!!!  I guarantee you that God created marijuana with a purpose just like He did everything else!!

It should be legalized ASAP!! Does the government not realize that they could make so much money from it that it would probably take care of most of the US deficite??!!  They are too busy trying to control everyone that they can't see what's best for us & our country!  It's been scientifically proven that pot had medicinal value & is good for several things like treating nausea, increasing appetite, glaucoma, depression & I'm sure the list goes on!!  They would rather mix a bunch of chemicals with a huge list of side-effects for us to take rather than let us sit back in the confines & comforts of our own homes & burn one! We're not hurting anybody by doing that!  IF more people smoked pot, there probably wouldn't be so much killing & craziness going on in the world!!

I think Governer Arnald Swarzenegger has the right idea of looking into the economics of other countries where it's legal & taxed!!!  Go Arnie!!!

PS., guys, burn a big fat one for me, please!!  Thanks & God bless!!

I can completely relate to what you all have said. If you eat properly there is no reason not to be fit and extremely healthy. If you don't take care of yourself then of course you'll become the sterio typical "pot head". These are our sisters and brothers we need to help and work on them. Give them hope and a possitive outlook.
I have heard of a store called Hempola Valley.  They do have a web site and you should check out the products the make and sell all from hemp.
Its terrific. God made it and grew it lets use it.
Let me know what you think of it.
