I suffered through 50 years of undiagnosed e-coli blood poisoning. My condition is improving and the last two days while excercising I sweated for the first time in my life. Normally I just faint when I get overheated. My question is if I am sweating is it possible that I am also finally metabolizing. Up until recently food just sat in my calcified stomach and did not metabolize. Even though I have been on a strict 1200 calorie a day diet for two years I am still 40 lbs overweight. Recently I have been doing well enough that I am riding my bicycle 14 miles every other day and going to the gym to work out on alternate days. I still am not losing weight however, I am hoping that the sweat means this will begin to change.
