Your son is in the normal range of height and weight for his age. It is recommended not to give a child under 3 years old raw nuts or seeds due to choking. If he has had some form of nuts cooked in food and no reaction, then he will be fine. Peanut butter can be given to him but not too much on the bread due to the peanut butter sticking to the roof of the mouth and again possible choking. Honey can be given after the age of one; however, you want to limit sugar foods (honey, table sugar, syrups). Fruit should be the source for sweets at that age. Thank you for your question.
you should be fine. generally a child who has a peanut allergy is also more susceptible to other nut allergies. if he has had nuts in other recipes and foods already, he's likely a-o-k for the PB too!
test him out with a small amount on a low key day at home. make sure you have some children's benadryl in the house just in case he starts to react (though i highly highly doubt you'd need it)
after 1 year, the honey is fine to give to children (obviously not in spoonfuls, but mixed in to recipes and foods it's fine). the reason for delaying the honey until this time is due to the presence of clostridium botulinum (the bacteria that causes botulism) in some honey. a baby's system could not handle a botulism strain the way our bodies can, but after a year the immunity and defense is built up sufficiently.
with both of these foods, make sure to watch for choking. they are very sticky and thick and a toddler's swallowing capabilities aren't fully developed yet. spread both very thin and give in small quantities, especially at first!
Forgot to add his height and weight per instructions. Weight 13.7 kg and height is 35 inches at his well baby visit.
