Supplements?

I am not sure if this is the right place to post this, but here goes. My friend just bought some supplements called 1-AD (androstenediol) & Liquid Nolva. I told him those were steroids and that they were not good for you. He seems to disagree with me. I have tried doing some research on the internet but of course all the sites are body building sites and the answers are biased. My question is does a androstenediol have any harmful side effects that you know of? What if you have high blood pressure? Do I have a right to be concerned, this is one of my good friends and I don't agree with any supplements like this. I am worried and I would love some information from an expert so I can back up my opinion. Thanks for your time and I apologize if this is the wrong forum.

Steriods are a medical risk if not used correctly and needs to be taken under a doctor's care. If you do want more information, you need to ask the other MD forums.
