Too much Vitamin B12?

Too much Vitamin B12?

I've been taking 1000mcg/daily to help me fight fatigue, and stay away from caffeinated beverages (I have a bit of an addiction). So, my question is, is it too much? I don't have absorption problems, or a deficiency. I know B12 isn't stored in fatty cells of the body, and is excess is excreted through urine, however I'd like to make sure I'm not doing something unhealthy. Call it paranoia? haha. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Excess amounts of Vitamin B12 from food or supplements have not been associated with adverse effects. A Tolerable Upper Intake Level has not been determined due to the low toxicity of the vitamin. Doses do range from 2 to 1000µg. Recommend daily allowance for men and women is 2.4µg. Suggest you do not take them because you are not deficient in the vitamin. Suggest finding out why you have fatigue so that you can be treated properly if you are deficient with other vitamins or minerals.
