I should have added, grains that are sprouted for breads and such are also good as they release nutrients and, like souring, limit excessive phytic acid.  And certain fermented foods can be very good for digestion and for your probiotic colonies, which if damaged can also be responsible for allergies as they can result in an overactive immune system, which is essentially what allergies are.

The most common food allergens, contrary to the post above, are dairy and wheat, so the first thing I'd try for what is probably an allergy problem is to avoid those from your diet and see if your sinus problems improve.  Pastas can be fine as long as they're made from whole grains that aren't wheat, though in moderation.  Bread can be fine if it's the right kind, meaning whole grain and traditional sourdough and not wheat, but again, in moderation.  There is no perfect meal plan -- people have different needs and digest foods differently -- but the basics are pretty consistent -- eat in moderation, small meals, balanced with enough protein from either vegetable or animal sources and enough high antioxidant and mineral rich vegetables, such as green leafy vegetables and the cabbage family.  Fruits should be the ones high in antioxidants -- for sinus problems, apples are good, as they're high in quercitin, a natural antihistamine, but berries are the highest in antioxidants.  Nuts are great for snacking.  I'd get a selection of books on the subject, divide by two, and set up a plan for yourself allowing for enjoying your food as well as it being healthful.  The biggest thing to avoid is simple carbs, such as sugar and white flour, which doesn't mean never but not a lot, and harmful fats, and try to eat organically grown food -- you'd be surprised how much tastier simple steamed vegetables are without having to add things for flavor if you eat from a good flavor-bred seed.
