I'm confused. I would assume that high adrenal output (high cortisol) would lead if anything to loss of weight, since it means you're agitated and putting out more energy. Lowering cortisol would make you more sluggish and more prone to slowing systems down. Ashwagandha is popular with anxiety sufferers because it tends to relax the adrenals, while rhodiola tends in most people to energize them. The former is therefore unlikely to add to help one lose weight while the latter might. There are also as far as I know no vitamins that will affect the adrenals much, but many adaptogens, some of which are balancing, some of which are highly energizing, many of which also lower blood sugar (American ginseng and holy basil, for example).
I misspelled Seriphos (this is the correct spelling). These supplements help lower your cortisol.
You may want to look into adaptagen herbs such as Rhodiola, Ashwagandha, or an Adrenal support vitamin which is a blend of these herbs, or Seripohs. Your belly fat issue could be due to high Cortisol, the stress hormone. This is my problem and am working on it, so maybe research this topic.
This issue has been raised before and is in the archives. You probably can't, though two people seemed to believe you can. But you can achieve a slim belly. You have to work it with a very intense ab regimen, exercise a lot, and avoid simple carbohydrates since they metabolize quickly into sugar and sugar if not immediately burned stores as fat and goes to the belly first.
Focus on general weight loss instead of putting stress on one part. Your belly will decrease in size naturally as you lose weight. Focus on eating healthy food and exercising.
