what are food restriction for the disease of malina
Avatar_dr_f_tn
Hi,
Do you mean melena which is blood in stools? Gastritis, bleeding ulcers, esophageal varices, prolonged use of NSAIDs; Mallory Weiss tear all can cause blood in stools. Eating black licorice, eating blueberries or taking iron pills all can cause stools to have a similar appearance like melena. Eating tomatoes or beets on a regular basis also can make stools appear red. Avoid eating spicy foods. Avoid eating fried food and junk food. For more queries contact your doctor. Keep me posted.
Best luck and regards!
