These are all example's of natural, vegetarian foods that are a fair source of protein. Now live4fitness is right in the sense that nothing holds the same amount of protein than you would get with meat. in one chicken breast there are 22 grams of protein - compared to the highest of the list, spinach which has 13 / cup. You can also visit your local GNC, Nutrition house, or healthy planet and pick up a tub of whey protein powder. If you want to regain strength and not so big on putting on so much weight than go for something low in carbs, fat, and sugar and go for something like ISO-LEAN. If you want to gain some weight you can go for something like ISO-FLEX, Mamoth3000. Or you can visit your local walmart and pick up a product from wielder called Mega Mass. I believe I saw mega mass 4000, and in 6 cups of this powder you have over 4000 callories. Personally I buy ISO flex. You get (if I remember correctly) 28 grams of protein per scoop, and the callories are not that high. Out of the powders I have used, it does the trick best.

Chickpeas are a good source of protein found in vegetarian Indian food. You should also consider tofu or soy based products. Spinach and greens such as broccoli are also great sources of vitamins to boost your energy.
You might also want to consider a cleanse to get the body back on track and incorporate probiotics to help you get back your strength. I have used DrNatura's colonix and toxinout for many years and it has helped me regain my health.
You do need to eat and try to stay away from the fried food - eat tofu marinated and grilled if possible and lots of leafy green vegetables. I hope this helps-let us know how you are doing.

looking foreward for good health and fitness.and that is my day dream
You are on the right track and I know you will achieve what you desire. Your nausea from the morning drink may be caused by milk or the protein powder. Perhaps you might want to start the morning with a rice and milk soup/cereal. What you can do is take 1/2 your rice from dinner and cook it up in milk - this can be done the night before and eaten in the morning warm or cold. This will fill you up and give you the strength you need for the day. Try and eat at least 5-6 times throughout the day. I would suggest that you eat steamed vegetables or a piece of fruit in between your main meals. This will help you regain your strength. You also need to add supplements(vitamins) to your diet. You have to give your body the boost it needs to recover. When you go to the gym don't worry about anyone else except yourself. If you can only do 15 minutes on the treadmill, thats great! Do that for a whole week every day. Then the following week increase another 2 minutes to 17 minutes. Go everyday for a week and slowly increase your time. Like learning to tie your shoes it takes time to train the body. You will achieve what you desire. I KNOW THIS! So hang in there you are on your way.
