who do i need to see for underweight issues

I dont know if this is the correct forum to post this question.

I am a male.  I am 26 years old.  My height is 6' 1.5" and I am only 133 lbs.  I have been underweight since child.  I was recently diagnosed with sprue.  I have been on a gluten-free diet for the past 4 months.  But my weight is still the same.  What kind of doctor I should see for this issue?

I will appreciate your help.

A Gastroenterologist would be the MD to see and be able to help you. When you go, have him do an additional test for Celiac disease. Most of the time MDs do not do this test, however, it needs to be done to rule out Celiac disease also. An extra bonus if they have a Registered Dietitian to help you with the Gluten-free diet. If you need help with the diet you can find a Registered Dietitian in your area from the American Dietetic Association website, www.eatright.org
