why do i crave crused ice

why do i crave crushed ice? it started about a year or two ago. i always eat crushed ice sometimes if i dont have it,i get put in a bad mood, its like im addicted to it i also crave dill pickles any one know whats wrong?

I have the same problem, with the crushed ice that is. I live in Alaska and hate the cold so why do I eat crushed ice? I have no idea. I will fill glasses full with ice and then water. When the ice gets a little brittle I dump the water off and chew the ice up. At least I have a good supply of ice in the winter. I guess this is a pretty good addiction because you're getting your water for the day. Just don't do what I did and crack a tooth on too hard of a piece of ice!
