OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE DISORDER (OCD) COMMUNITY
Any Advice would be great

Any Advice would be great

I have been with my bf for a few years now.  He has been diagnosed with OCD and BiPolar disorder.  I have seen him on and off the meds.  (Oxcarbazephine,Paroxetine and Amblify)  We have had a very rocky relationship because of it.  When he didn't take them he was impossible to have a relationship with.  Come to find out it is because his form of OCD is having vived and and extremely upsetting visions of me with my past sex partners.  I am a very open person.  Especially if I really care for someone because I don't like feeling like there are secrets.  In the begining of our relationship I told him some things about my past and answered questions.  Now answering them and being open are 2 of the biggest regrets of my life.  I know this man is truely wonderful and we could have a great shot at a realy future together if this would just GO AWAY!  I can't say a WORD or NAME from my past that he has heard without all hell breaking loose sometimes.  I get very defensive, we yell and throw things and he says the NASTIEST things to me and about me to me.  He thinks that I want every past partner more than him and think they were all better.  I have seen and talked to this man when he is well and I adore him and swear that he is my soul mate.  I can't loose him and right now we are barely speaking.  I try to really keep my eye him and catch when he starts having the visions and thoughts and stop them.  Sometimes if I start to climb all over him and kiss him he snaps out of it and sometimes it does the opposite.
Does anyone have any advice on how I should react, signs to watch for, different medications, on-sets due to alcohal (alcohol) consumption, changes in sleep pattterns, anything at all??  How can I help him?
