Blood On My Shirt

Yesterday Night We played basketball and noticed some dry blood on the lower end of my shirt. When i played i did not noticed some pain or prick by sharp thing in my body.

Now i am little paranoid this matter..Maybe i contracted some diseases (hepatitis or hiv) in this matter?

There is a possibilities that our opponent in game yesterday had some needle and intentionally want to pass the diseases to me

Yes, let us know how you are doing. Searching for reassurance is a never ending nightmare as folks with OCD crave absolute certainty, which is never possible. I am not sure what you meant about me trying to be good to others, but thanks, I know that I am, by volunteering my time on this site, and online at other OCD support groups, and my support group that meets at a hospital, and the one I facilitated at my church all fall. Yes, I am good to others, and God is good to me. (smile)  I appreciate your noticing. Take care.

I'm glad you are going to see a psychiatrist.  I do find that psychiatrists are good with a bit of talk and prescribing medication but what you really need, I think, unless he/she prescribes medication to you,  is cognitive behavioral therapy and usually a psychologist teaches that.  So when you go to see the doctor, ask about CBT and whether they teach it or not.  Also, find out what his/her long-term plan is for getting you better.  He may want you to see both him/her AND a psychologist.  Let me know how you are doing.

Well, yes, anything is possible. There might be a sociopathic basketball player with a hidden needle who targeted you. Oh, and of course he would have had to have HIV or Hep C besides, which not that many folks really have. Oh, and he would have had to have not been terribly sick or he wouldn't have had the energy to play basketball. Oh, and he would have had to have found your gym or court out of all the possible places he could find to spread his disease. Oh, and he would have done this invisibly since you don't have a prick, and without you feeling it happen, so apparently he also carries numbing cream to apply first. Yup, it's possible. You may contract the diseases and die.

Where do you live that you think somebody on the basketball court is running around with a needle and pricking people?  Do you watch professional basketball?  They get elbowed, noses bleed, they fall across the floor and get floor burns....they are not showing up in the papers as having gotten any diseases or passing them on for that matter.

How long have you had this type of anxiety and have you ever had any treatment for it?
