Dentist Hep C / B risk

first of all I have to say that I have OCD, so I find it very difficult to differentiate an OCD worry from a real worry.

having said that, I'm a bit scared because I went to the dentist today and during treatment he answered his cell phone with his gloves on and he with the treatment with the same gloves after the phone call.

I know that I should have said something and I feel guilty for my cowardliness, but do you think I have reason to worry, I think I was not bleeding, but how can I know?

my main concern is related to hep c and b, since hiv doesn't live long outside the body

thank you

To be honest with you, just as a professional courtesy he shouldn't have answered the phone while he was working with a patient.  I don't think you have anything to worry about though as far as Hep B and C go.  Most people wouldn't bat an eye at this, other than the fact that he answered his phone, but your OCD is making it a bigger deal than it was.
