Geodon Withdrawals
Hello. I am 18 years old and I have had OCD as long as I can remember. In the morning I take 40mg of geodon and in the night I take 80mg. But 2 days ago i couldnt get a refill so i didnt take any. So I was without until this morning. This morning when I woke up, I went to the bathroom. The freakiest withdrawal symptom happened, it felt as if I was mentally retarded, and I didn't know where I was at. Other symptoms are shakiness, heart pounding, insomnia. But the first one I've never had before and it freaked me out. Is the first symptom I told you about normal, does it happen to everyone? I'm scared I'm gonna go to sleep tonight and wake up in the morning retarded. Thanks for your time.
How long have you been on the Geodon? My daughter has been on for about a week and her OCD symptoms have not gotten any better. How long did it take for the Geodon work on your OCD?
I did forget to mention I am back on my medicine now, and I feel better. But it still scares me that this is gonna happen again. Was it a normal symptom?
