so I have been diagnosed with ocd. I tend to over think about certain illnesses. I went from heart problems to lung cancer to blood clots and now i am at hiv. My doctor put me on zoloft two weeks ago and its finally starting to kick in. Anyways does anyone have tips on getting rid of this problem? feel free to message me.

I suffered from OCD since I was around 8 years old, if not younger. I'm now 19 and my OCD is literally pretty much GONE. The thing that helped me most was a good Cognitive Behavorial Treatment with exposure. Get a good therapist and it really will help alot. My good friend had severe OCD and the thing that helped him was therapy also. A good combination of medication and CBT should do the trick, or at least make it manageable.
