IS THIS DUE TO OCD!!!

I am not sure if my symptoms are more severe than just from ocd and anxiety. I have a compulsive fear of lice, i have never had it myself thats why i dont understand where this is coming from.Last night i had a dream that my entire body was covered in lice and as you can amagine when i woke up i felt like jumping off a building. is there anyone that can make any sense of this at all?  PLEASE!!!

Sounds like OCD. I have this same sort of fear over cancer and I have never had a reason to worry over it....I just do!

The only medication i am taking right now is for anxiety its called Lorazepam. It works really well when im panicing but, does not stop the thoughts. can you recommend something that i can talk to my doctor about? My mother has ocd and with her its germs and blood. I use to get so mad at her when i was younger because i didnt understand but now that i do i would not wish this type of worry on anyone!!!

Yeah, you should discuss with your doctor about going on a medication that treats OCD. The Lorazepam is only good for anxiety attacks. The drugs used to treat OCD are:

Luvox
Paxil
Zoloft
Even Prozac

All have shown to be effective treatment.

Good luck and hang in there! OCD is a nightmare illness I wouldn't wish on anyone.
