My daughter will be 9 years old & she cannot answer to us most of the time ver y unsure of herself. we ask a question she answers sometimes the anser then says I dont knnow maybe i doneknow Ia not sure.Then iasked her why she cannot anser she said because if she doesnt remember exactly she feels like she is lyin and feels guilty. Other issues: profinaty obssesions in her mid: mom is a bitc@ randomly comes inher head,doing her homework reading & studying cannot remember using checkmarks, ersing sometimes making perfect circles and doing her music piano lesson if she paracticing & she makes an error she cannot count that & will have start allover agin then if ask her if she did her lesson even with error she feelslike she is lying to us. We are taking her to therapist but the lying is her therapist is unsure she thinks it might me obssessive compulsive. But I want the proper care for here I dont want her to get messed up. I think she might need congnitive therapy or make understand the difference of purposeful lie vs. white lie. WHo should she got to & get her therapy done by.Oh by the way mymom had schizophrenia & brother bipolar.
