I am diagnosed with OCD and I totally agree with the diagnosis with that. I am also kinda diagnosed with bipolar, more the cyclothymic. My depression is very bad even with the tons of meds i take. I'm wanting an opinion on whether or not "you all" think I'm on too many meds and I think you probably will. I'll list them at the end. My ocd is mainly checking locks, etc. and very bad obsessive thinking. I see a therapist for behavior therapy and a psychiatrist for meds, i also do a tone of self help reading as I feel this is important and I help run a support group. My problem is that my psychiatrist costs $75 a session. I live with my mother because of my problems and also because of a messy divorce (because of my problems). I am fighting to get my disability back, it was taken away so she (my mom) pays for everything at the moment. i have baby step plans towards getting my life back together which i'm trying to work on doing. I don't know if I could afford a different psychiatrist. Is $75 pretty standard. I don't want to leave this doctor if finding another would mean a price hike on my mom either. I have fatigue a lot but that goes with depression too, could be all the drugs i'm on, it's hard to tell. I have problems with the ed stuff though I have a high sex drive. Sometimes I simply can't get it up and i never used to have that problem, even with being on a lot of meds. maybe one of the newer meds i'm on is causing the problem. Who knows. Anyway, i'm rambling, thanks for bearing with me and i will put my list on here:



Celexa - 20 mg. -once daily
Cymbalta - 60 mg, once daily
Lamictal - 200 mg, once daily
Lorazepam - 1 mg, 2-3 times daily, usually 2
Anafranil - 150 mg, once at night
LIthium - 600 mg - once daily

with all this my obsessive thinking is still really bad/racy mind/worry

i get by but could i be feeling better is what i wonder. thankx

i'm taking saw palmetto for the sex stuff, KU med said it was okay to take with the meds but i would like to get off some of these meds then, just not sure if i should try for a different psychiatrist or try working with this one.

anxiety medication can cause the sexual issues you are feeling. They usually go away with time but can stick as long as you are taking the meds. Personally thats way to much medication and mixing is never a good idea. Sounds like your in a rough patch which everyone goes through in their lives. Dont worry you will get better. Follow your docs steps  and you will recover. Take care and good luck
