Not sure if I have ocd or I'm just weird...

I have spent the better part of 9 years obsessing over cleanliness, order, symmetry, adverse to change, irrational thoughts and when things happen overreact.I at times joke that I may have ocd since it seems to make quite a bit of sense, but how do I go about finding out if I do, and if so, is it treatable in any way? I have to clean everyday constantly, cannot stand messes, and things that are messy even when in public, I feel it necessary to straighten, or clean. I don't know to approach this with my dr, any suggestions?

If I don't clean I would go into panic mode it causes a huge source of anxiety for me. I have to do it on a daily basis even if I've been at work all day, gone to the gym, and am exhausted beyond belief, I have to do it. If I were to mess things up it would make me really mad.... I sometimes think if I don't clean somehow I am doing something wrong or I'll obsess about it all day long. My mind races at night about really trivial things that I know aren't important, but I cant stop dwelling on them. I over react to pretty much everything all the time. And have at times really violent dreams for no apparent reason at all...

If you don't clean, does it cause you great anxiety? Try messing things up and seeing how you feel. OCD is an anxiety disorder. what kind of irrational thoughts?
