OCD and HIV

Hi.
Couple of weeks ago i was at party and got very drunk.  I fell asleep on a couch. Later i woke up and started thinking that someone poked me with hiv positive needle. I found abrasion on my hand. Is this abrsion look like needle  puncture wound?  I have an obsession about hiv, i know that but i can handle it quite well. Also, my english is quite poor, it is not my native language.
This picture is taken when i found this.

"I can handle my obsessions" but yet you follow that up with "How needle puncture wound look like? I remember this abrasion was so superficial that i had to press hard on it to see blood. But needle wound would hurt and be deeper next day?"  This tells me that you cannot handle your obsessions.  But hey, all I can do it point you in the right direction...I can't make you go there.  I also cannot tell you what a needle puncture would look like and whether you have had one or not.

Reassurance seeking will not get you anywhere.  It will only make you feel better for a short period of time and then you will be back at it again.  Until you learn how to deal with the thoughts, unfortunately you are going to be stuck where you are.

Hi there...sorry you are going through this.  The reality is, I cannot look at a picture and say whether you got poked by something.  The more likely scenario is that you fell, bumped into something, etc. since you were drunk.

When people have HIV anxiety they will attribute anything to HIV.  You are stuck in the "What if" cycle of thinking.  Making stuff up as you go along.

You said your English is poor so where are you from?  Do you have access to a psychologist?
