OCD or Schizophrenia maybe?

Hi, I am just after some advice....
Recently just before sleep now and then I hear my friends voices saying random things - its just a bit scary as it has their distinct voice....
From time to time a random line or 2 from a friend may pop in to my head during the day...they do not tell me what to do or anything, or talk to another voice - its just random sentance that appear now and again - say if im brushing my teeth or something?
Oh and just one more thing while I remember...the other night outside my house some guy was sat in a car all night (from like 10pm until the next morning)...I think it was the neighbours brother with no where to stay. But I did become worried and though what happens if he comes in here etc, with a knife or something!!! Whys he out there! Is that paranoid or just a rational worry?!?
Are these any kind of examples of Schizophrenia or is this just me on the worry-train once more?

this sounds like something normal that we with anxiety seem to take too seriously. that sometimes happens to me with tv shows after watching.

If you are trying to sleep when it happens, then it could be a hypnagogic hallucination, which occurs between borderline sleep and awake. When you are partially asleep you enter the dream world and can see and hear things from your dream consciousness, even while part of you is awake or borderline awake.

But if you hear voices while you're fully awake, that's another matter.

In that case it sounds like anxiety. Happens to me too sometimes especially if I am sleepy or when I wake up at night. So IMO it is anxiety not psychosis nor OCD.

Yeh its like my oqn inner voice doing the voices, although it sounds like my friends if that makes sense...with the same accents etc....its not like its coming from outside or anything. Its kind of like I think hmmm what to do later...then an answer will be manufactured in my friends voice? If that makes sense??!?!

Do you hear your friend's voices literally or is it just in your head like when a song is stuck in your head? If so, it happens to me too and many other people. Anxiety. If you hear voices literally then it is something that needs to be investigated but doesn't necessarily mean schizophrenia.

Fear of the guy outside your house all night would make many people worry.
