OCD??

Ever since I was little, I have had a compulsion for picking at my nails, skin, and scalp. Anytime I see something that can be picked at, I do it. My face is relatively clear, but anytime I get extremely stressed or feel like I can't control anything, I'll go stand at the mirror and find blackheads or pick at the skin around my breasts/chest, I feel as if maybe I have control over something. I am also picking at scabs on my scalp and picking at my cuticles until they bleed and get raw. I search my body for anything I can find that may resemble a whitehead etc, whats the issue? I've been on Effexor for about 5 yrs now, and have also been on Xanax, but am currently not on it right now.
