Pls help me

Am suffering from a disturbed state of mind where my mind is always preoccupied with anxious thoughts. I have excessive obession about dirt & washing hands which has been there from long time , but managing well.Lately from past few months i have developed severe obsession & compulsions about stealing/ shoplifting . Though i havent stolen anything till date with fear of consequences but i get strong urge , obession & compulsive thoughts to act. I have been trying all ways to control my thoughts, lately i am undergoing lots of career stress. My mind is always occupied with obssesive thoughts of stealing or shoplifting. I dont seem to think anything besides this. Hours n hours i try to find out some help for me , mostly logged on internet. How can i overcome such thoughts & how can i control my disturbed mind. I need help. I have fear of losing mental balance. I dont want to commit any crime as am a responsible person & i want to get cured for my obssesive thoughts.
Pls help me.

You might want to read up on NatureMade Sam-e.  It really helped me with anxiety and SAD that I have in the wintertime.  Good luck and God bless you.

Go to your doc get on an ssri that is right for you, and after  your on it for a good  three months try cbt. You  wont steal anything. Dont mix ssri's with  homepathec methods such as mentioned above.    Chelle_1
