Refractory OCD. I have had it since i was little, I remember when it happened. I have been on medication, every medication antipsychotics,SSR's Wellbutrin, anti-seizures.

I have refractory OCD/Depression, had it since i was 5.  Tried ever medicine, honestly.  The SSRI's and atypical antipsychotics slow my thoughts down.  I am just an obsessed person.   am 34 ,dropped out of college, though i graduated with honors from high-school.  I have taken all medicines, honestly, all types.  I am just an osessed and depressed person.  I have some odd Ocd symtoms (symptoms).  I just want it to go away.  I want to have brain surgery, where they, i believe cut into a part of your brain responsible for the thought.  What do you think.. I am on SSI for disability,i tried to work, longest was two years but that was it?  What do you suggest?

If you have tried every known medication you could look up to see if there are medications in clinical study. Perhaps a trained psychopharmocologist would be willing to see if they would work on you. As for in general cognitive behavioral therapy can work on ocd in addition to medication and has helped people I know with ocd
