This is very distressing!! Please help!

I have this very overwhelming fear that my husband is trying to poison me, he has never given me a reason to think this. We have been married for over a year and have a beautiful baby girl. This fear has only been there for the last few months, I have been diagnosed with OCD and anxiety disorders. I just don't understand why I have to feel like he is the only one poisoning me. It doesn't make since, he knows i think this and even gets very irritated at times, which i don't blame him. I think i would be mad to if I were being accused of being a murderer. My rational side tells me he isn't, I have no life insurance or anything. He has no motive for this. I just can't seem to shake this horrible thought. I thought maybe going on here and talking about it will help. i currently do have an appointment with a therapist, meanwhile does anybody else have this fear or something similar. You're coments will be appreciated...

When my ocd first started, I had an overwhelming fear that someone was trying to poison me, but I had no specific person. It was like anyone in my house. I couldn't leave open sodas or anything around because I was afraid someone would poison me. I lost 6 pounds in one week when this started because I was so frightened. The good news is, I no longer fear this and haven't in about 10 years. I'm glad to hear you're going to therapy! They will be able to help you with this.
