What can we do?

I need someone's help desperately! My husband and I recently moved in with his parents because of financial difficulties. She is a compulsive cleaner and cleans EVERYTHING with straight bleach. We have a 10 month old and the smell of bleach is just breath taking. I have tried cracking windows and turning fans on and it's getting to be where I'm so uncomfortable staying around her (she drives me crazy with the cleaning and piddling) If I put 1 cup in the sink...she HAS to wash it. I feel like I'm not able to do my part as a wife because she's already done it. She gets in these clean modes where she'll just start wiping everything down and cleaning everything off and it drives me insane. I want to just let her do her thing, but I want to be able to relieve her of some of the tasks that she's doing...I just don't get an opportunity to do so. In the past year, she has had a drinking problem and a problem with crack and I don't know if this is her way of "avoiding" not doing them...but I have noticed a pattern where she'll start cleaning and piddling around the house (it takes her almost and hour to clean the kitchen at night after dinner...it's ridiculous) but then about a week later she'll run off for a night and come back the next morning high as a kite...only to wake up several hours later and start her fidgeting and cleaning all over again. She has recently sought help for the drugs and drinking...but the OC cleaning is driving her husband, me, and my husband insane...what can we do?
