What is wrong with the Treatment
A person with severe obsession for CLEANNESS (Frequent Handwashing, reluctant ti hand-shake with others,not touching an object which is touched by some others....etc) is taking Fluvoxamine 50mg OD since last ONE YEAR.Doctor did not reccommend an effective CBT.He is still NOT FREE from the symptoms.Fearing a health hazard for long term medication of Fluvoxamine, he wanted to discontinue it gradually without consulting the doctor.reduced the dose (25 mg a day) for a month and then 25 mg in alternative day.He can not stop it now, as the withdrawal is causing DIZINESS.
What is the duration of this medication ? (with 50mg a day FLUVOXAMINE)
How to withdraw it from a 25 mg Alternative day dose.
Does Fluvoxamine interact with any Drug like ASPIRIN 75 mg OD ; LOSARTAN POTTASIUM 50 mg OD ?
Please suggest and guide...

well, i dont know an answer to all that, but i have sort of the same problem, and Ive been taking some hurbs (herbal treatment for OCD) look that up on google.
there is alternitive ways out there. and to night I am going to say a prayer for who ever it is you are talking about.
