Why do they do it?

Why do they insist on leaving the cupboard doors open? Why can't they leave me to fold the towels the way that I like to fold them? Why do they hide my cutlery/dishes?
Do they take a perverse pleasure in doing this to me?

Those few things are the only things that I need to have done in a certain way...my only compulsions...so why do they mess with me?

Think I'll start leaving mouse traps hidden around the house, so that when they start messing with things they'll "get it!".
And hands...why can't they wash their dang hands? Would it kill them? I may wash my hands too much, but at least I'm not the one spreading the germs!  The flu bug just keeps "getting back to them" all the time...and they wonder why...ugh.
I don't believe that OCD is that bad of a thing to have...except for those that have "dangerous" compulsions of course...but for those of us that just like things "tidy" it's ok...isn't it?
I'm not a "clean freak" by any means...I have ADD too...so things are sort of "pleasantly cluttered". lol

Anyone else have problems with family/friends who do these things to them?

You made me laugh.  I can see family members doing that to you.  For instance my son will walk in front of me up the stairs but do it really slowly until the point I want to just push him over the side.  But that really has nothing to do with my OCD.  It doesn't sound like yours is that bad so you can probably get at least a little chuckle out of it.  My extended family calls me "Dirty Girl" because I don't like to clean up my house.  Isn't it funny what bothers one person with OCD doesn't bother another?  Our brains are all different.
